Submitted by Don Clinton: Panola College’s Fulton Rutland is still sitting number one in the average in bullriding going in to the last two night’s and then into Saturday night’s main event finals. He has completed his 3 rounds and is on top.  He now has to sit patiently as they complete the next two nights and hopes to hold that number one spot and prepare for the finals on Saturday night.

Panola College also has three other young men who graduated last year from Panola competing at the Finals with Wyatt Denny (FeatherRiver College), who is also sitting number one in the nation in the bareback competition, Gannon Ivey(Sam Houston State) competed in the bullriding this year for the second year in a row at the CNFR, last year with Panola, and Randy Meyers (Texas A&M Commerce also in the bullriding.
